What a day on the Farm!
Our second year doing the Kids Easter Egg hunt was a huge success again! A great time was had by all! We had nearly 50 kiddos brave the weather (which threatened be MISERABLE but cleared up by the time we got to egg hunting!) They hunted for treats and trinkets hidden in our fenced in meadow. Candy, gemstones, stickers and toys filled over 500 easter eggs hidden in our three acre meadow and woods.
The day started out with crafts under the tent, then a tour of the farm to meet the animals.
Our two bottle babies Milli and Vanilli were the hit of the party. They loved the extra attention and the mid-day bottle feeding. The kid got to bottle feed the baby goats, meet the chickens, sheep and momma pig. We even got to look at the bee hives, although it was too cold for them to be out flying. Just before the egg hunt our neigborhood paramedics stopped by and the kids got to check out the a real Ambulance!
The kids had a blast. So did we. Can't wait to do it again next year.
